Community Decision Making Process Survey back on track
05/15/2013
The Kahnawà:ke Legislative Coordinating Commission (KLCC) wishes to announce that a comprehensive telephone survey campaign to gather feedback on the Community Decision Making Process has resumed. A number of surveys had been conducted during March and April, though there is still substantial work that needs to be done to complete the process.
Orenda Boucher-Curotte has been contracted to conduct the surveys. The goal of the survey is to gain a sense of the community’s familiarity with the Community Decision Making Process, reasons for their levels of participation and other related topics. Generally, the survey could take as little as one or two minutes; however, those who wish are more than welcome to speak at length or ask questions.
Once it has been determined that every household listed in the Kahnawa:ke directory has been given the opportunity to participate, the information and suggestions contained in the surveys will be compiled, with the results being used to help determine possible improvements that could better reflect the community’s requirements.
