CP Community Connect can answer train whistle questions

The Community Protection Unit of the Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke would like to inform community members that any questions or concerns regarding whistle use or other railway activity along the Canadian Pacific (CP) tracks may be directed to CP Community Connect at 1-800-766-7912 (24/7), or community_connect@cpr.ca.

Please note, the toll free line is answered by CP Police Control Center staff, so at times the Community Connect calls may go to voicemail if staff are dealing with safety or emergency issues. In those cases, callers are asked to leave a message and CP will return the call as quickly as possible on the next business day.

Additionally, the following CP Rail representatives can also be reached: Alphonze Pompezzi (514-977-6490) or Ron Berwick (514-977-6492).

If there is an emergency concern, the Kahnaw�:ke Peacekeepers can be reached anytime at 450-632-6505.  

The Kahnaw�:ke Community Protection Unit can be reached weekdays from 8:30am to 4pm at 450-632-0635.
