Mercier Bridge lane reductions starting Tuesday

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawą:ke wishes to inform road-users that the Jacques Cartier & Champlain Bridges Incorporated announced upcoming lane closures on the Mercier Bridge from Tuesday, June 25th to Thursday, June 27th between 8pm and 5am.
During the work, both directions will be reduced to one lane and the width will be reduced to 3.2 metres. The following lane configurations will occur:
Tuesday: Kahnawą:ke-bound span completely closed with one lane in each direction on the Montreal-bound span. Traffic to Montreal: use the Route 138 upramp coming from Chateauguay Traffic to Kahnawą:ke: use Route 132 La Prairie downramp and utilize u-turn to access Route 138
Wednesday & Thursday: Montreal-bound span completely closed with one lane available in each direction on the Kahnawą:ke-bound span. Traffic to Montreal: (from Chateauguay direction) use service road to Route 132 upramp from La Prairie Traffic to Kahnawą:ke: use Route 138 downramp towards Chateauguay and utilize u-turn on Route 207 towards La Prairie.
Additionally, a mobile closure is required this evening (Monday) to erect detour signage. Little impact to traffic is expected.
The MCK wishes to remind the public that works/closures on the Mercier Bridge are subject to change due to weather conditions, operational constraints or work progression, and that it does not take part in the scheduling or cancellation of such works.
