Mercier Bridge - Closure of one Kahnawake-bound lane

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke would like to advise road users of upcoming closures on the Mercier Bridge.The Minist�re des Transports du Qu�bec will be conducting Inspection Work, necessitating the closure of one Kahnaw�:ke-bound lane, nightly, from September 30th to October 2nd on the following schedule:
- Monday, September 30th from 9pm to 5am
- Tuesday, October 1st from 9pm to 5am
Please note, as previously announced, inspections are also taking place this week:
- Tonight - Wednesday, September 25th from 9pm to 5am
- Thursday, September 26th from 10pm to 5am
- Saturday, September 28th from 6am to 8pm
- Sunday, September 29th from 6am to 8pm
The Jacques Cartier & Champlain Bridges Incorporated will also completely close the Route 138 up-ramp (from Chateauguay direction towards Montreal) for repairs to the road surface on Saturday, September 28th from 7am to 5pm. Motorists will be detoured to the Route 132 up-ramp (from La Prairie Direction).
The MCK continues to remind the public that works/closures on the Mercier Bridge are subject to change due to weather conditions, operational constraints or work progression, and that it does not take part in the scheduling or cancellation of such works.
