Reminder – Mercier Bridge closures this weekend

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke would like to remind road users that the Jacques Cartier & Champlain Bridges Incorporated will completely close the Route 138 up-ramp (from Chateauguay direction towards Montreal) for repairs to the road surface tomorrow, Saturday, September 28th from 7am to 5pm. Motorists will be detoured to the Route 132 up-ramp (from La Prairie Direction). 
 
Also note that the Ministère des Transports du Québec will be conducting Inspection Work, necessitating the closure of one Kahnawà:ke-bound lane, nightly, from Saturday, September 28th until Tuesday, October 1st on the following schedule:
 
•    Saturday, September 28th from 6am to 8pm
•    Sunday, September 29th from 6am to 8pm
•    Monday, September 30th from 9pm to 5am
•    Tuesday, October 1st from 9pm to 5am
 
The MCK continues to remind the public that works/closures on the Mercier Bridge are subject to change due to weather conditions, operational constraints or work progression, and that it does not take part in the scheduling or cancellation of such works.
