Figure Skating equipment drive continues

The Kahnaw�:ke Figure Skating Club, in conjunction with the Sports & Recreation Unit of the Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke, continues to seek donations of used figure skating equipment to help less fortunate families who are having trouble with the high costs to equip their children.

Donations are being accepted at the Kahnaw�:ke Sports Complex from 8am to 4pm until Friday, October 18th. Suggested items to donate include figure skates for boys and girls, competition and practice dresses, skirts and other figure skating attire. Please ensure that the equipment is in good condition and, most importantly, meets general quality standards.

Equipment selection and giveaway date will be Sunday, October 20th from 8am to noon at the Sports Complex.
