Kahnawake Membership Law Community Consultation to continue on November 5th

The Kahnawà:ke Legislative Coordinating Commission (KLCC) would like to inform Kahnawa’kehró:non that the 15th Community Consultation on proposed amendments to the Kahnawà:ke Membership Law has been moved ahead to 5, Kentenhkó:wa/November 2013.

The date was made available upon postponement of the second Community Consultation on the creation of Kahnawà:ke legislation to counter Canada’s S-2 (“Matrimonial Real Interests”) law, which had been scheduled for that date.

The meeting will be held at the Karonhianónhnha School gymnasium from 6pm to 8:30pm, as has been standard practice. Participants are being urged to arrive on time in order for the meeting to begin promptly.
