Kahnawake Membership Law Community Consultation to continue on November 5th

The Kahnaw�:ke Legislative Coordinating Commission (KLCC) would like to inform Kahnawa�kehr�:non that the 15th Community Consultation on proposed amendments to the Kahnaw�:ke Membership Law has been moved ahead to 5, Kentenhk�:wa/November 2013.

The date was made available upon postponement of the second Community Consultation on the creation of Kahnaw�:ke legislation to counter Canada�s S-2 (�Matrimonial Real Interests�) law, which had been scheduled for that date.

The meeting will be held at the Karonhian�nhnha School gymnasium from 6pm to 8:30pm, as has been standard practice. Participants are being urged to arrive on time in order for the meeting to begin promptly.
