War of 1812 Movie on Paul’s Cable this January

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke is pleased to announce that the documentary, “The Abandoned Alliance,” a Kahnawà:ke perspective on the War of 1812, will be aired on Paul’s Cable’s Mohawk TV once per week this month, starting today (January 2) at 4pm. Air dates (with repeats all day) are as follows, on channel 36 for analog subscribers and Channel 4 if you have a digital or HD box;

The Abandoned Alliance was directed by student filmmaker Brent Horne, with the assistance of student filmmaker Tharonhianenthe Barnes and features several Kahnawa’kehró:non. The film originally debuted on the anniversary of the Battle of Châteauguay, in October 2013.
