Freezing Rain expected Friday morning

The Emergency Preparedness Department of the Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke would like to advise the community of weather warnings for prolonged freezing rain beginning in the early morning hours tomorrow, Friday, February 21st.

The freezing rain is expected to turn to rain and give close to 25 mm in some areas.

The morning rush hour is expected to be difficult as a result. Community members are urged adjust travel plans accordingly and check road conditions and weather forecasts before leaving.
