Reminder of Kahnawake-bound closures on Mercier Bridge this weekend

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke would like to remind road users that the Ministère des Transports du Québec will close both Kahnawà:ke-bound lanes of the Mercier Bridge this weekend beginning tonight (Friday) at 10pm until Monday, March 17th, 5am.

Please note that only the two Montreal-bound lanes will remain open to traffic.

This closure is the first of four weekends scheduled for repair work on the structural elements under the bridge. The remaining closures are scheduled for:
 
•    Friday, March 28th, 10pm, to Monday, March 31st, 5am;
•    Friday, April 11th, 10pm, to Monday, April 14th, 5am;
•    Friday, April 18th, 10pm, to Monday, April 21st, 5am.

The MCK reminds the public that works/closures on the Mercier Bridge are subject to change due to weather conditions, operational constraints or work progression, and that it does not take part in the scheduling or cancellation of such works.
