MCK offers condolences to family, friends and colleagues of Danny White

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK) is offering its sincerest condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of Danny White, who passed away yesterday after a brief illness.

He was a long-time employee of the MCK’s Public Works Unit (1998-2014). He had previously served the community as a Caughnawaga Iroquois Police Officer (1974-1979).

Mr. White was working until a few weeks ago, when he took ill. At his request there will be no viewing or funeral service. A memorial service will be announced shortly.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be made in his name to the Young Adults Program.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Debbie Skye, along with two sons Jeffrey and Jonathan (Megan), granddaughter Aubrey as well as sister Catherine. He was 61 years old.
