Mohawk Council of Kahnawake Election Law CDMP meeting tomorrow (Tuesday) at Golden Age Club

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke (MCK) wishes to remind Kahnawa�kehr�:non that Consultations using the Community Decision Making Process to discuss the draft proposed amendments to the Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke Election Law will take place tomorrow (Tuesday, 25, Ennisk�:wa/March 2014) from 6pm to 8:30pm at the Golden Age Club.

This will be a continuation of the previous meeting held last November, at which there was no consensus on the question of whether the so-called �fifty percent clause� should remain in the law as an eligibility requirement for candidates for Chief & Council.

Those planning to participate are strongly urged to review the current draft and feedback report, both of which are available online at www.kahnawakemakingdecisions.com or at the MCK main office.
