Rainfall warning for this evening

The Community Protection Unit of the Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke would like to advise the community of a Rainfall Warning in effect for the Montreal region this evening into tomorrow (Tuesday).

Approximately 25 to 35 millimetres is expected to fall during this time.

Homeowners should ensure sump pumps are in working order and should try to limit travel, unless necessary. Be aware of flash flood conditions around rivers and streams.

Temperatures this evening will not be too cold, but will hover around the freezing mark. Therefore, it may cause a mixture of snow and rain.
