Garbage at Recycling Depot Not Permitted

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawą:ke and Kahnawą:ke Environment Protection Office would like to remind the community that the Recycling Depot does not collect garbage or waste at their facility. Recent incidents of quantities of garbage being left at the Recycling Depot have prompted management to begin to review surveillance on the premises and notify authorities of any activity of this kind. Illegal dumping at the recycling depot is a waste of resources and can lead to a fine of up to $2,000.
