Chief Lloyd Phillips to meet with Quebec Minister of Native Affairs Geoff Kelley

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke wishes to inform the community that Intergovernmental Portfolio Chief Lloyd Phillips will meet informally with Quebec′s Minister of Native Affairs Geoff Kelley this evening.

This is a follow-up from Monday′s ‎meeting between Mr. Kelley and Grand Chief Michael Ahr�hron Delisle, Jr.

The discussion with Kelley will focus on the Kateri Memorial Hospital expansion project‎, which has been delayed for the past several months and the overall revitalization of the relationship between Kahnaw�:ke and Quebec.

Chief Phillips will be accompanied by Mike O′Brien, who is the Chief of Staff for the Office of the Council of Chiefs.
