Chief Lloyd Phillips to meet with Quebec Minister of Native Affairs Geoff Kelley

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawą:ke wishes to inform the community that Intergovernmental Portfolio Chief Lloyd Phillips will meet informally with Quebec′s Minister of Native Affairs Geoff Kelley this evening.
This is a follow-up from Monday′s meeting between Mr. Kelley and Grand Chief Michael Ahrķhron Delisle, Jr.
The discussion with Kelley will focus on the Kateri Memorial Hospital expansion project, which has been delayed for the past several months and the overall revitalization of the relationship between Kahnawą:ke and Quebec.
Chief Phillips will be accompanied by Mike O′Brien, who is the Chief of Staff for the Office of the Council of Chiefs.
