Temporary road closure Sunday for Andrews Ride

(Kahnawake � 6, Sesk�ha/August 2014) The Community Protection Unit of the Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke would like to inform motorists that a portion of the Old Malone Highway will be closed between Iron Horse Wearhouse and Dustin′s Convenience on Sunday, August 10th for the Andrew Giasson Memorial Motorcycle Ride. The closure will last from approximately 9am to 10:30am.

During this time, one lane will be available for emergency vehicles and no commercial business establishments will be blocked. Proper detour signage will be in place to direct vehicle traffic away from the area.

For the safety of community members, riders and spectators, organizers of Andrew′s Ride requested the Old Malone Highway be blocked for the registration period until the riders leave.
