Chief Gina Deer attending major international gaming conference

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke (MCK) wishes to inform the community that Gaming Portfolio Chief Gina Deer is attending the annual ICE Totally Gaming conference in London, England. The exhibition and conference, billed as the world�s largest gaming trade event, takes place from tomorrow (Tuesday) through Thursday. Various seminars, conferences, exhibitions and kiosks provide unparalleled networking opportunities.

Chief Deer, who is attending for the third consecutive year, will be part of the Kahnawake Gaming Commission (KGC) contingent, which is the official licensing and regulating authority for gaming activity within and from the Territory.

The community continues to play a major role in the on-line gaming industry through the KGC and Mohawk Internet Technologies (MIT), which is 100% owned by the Mohawks of Kahnaw�:ke. MIT also holds a 40% share of Continent 8 Technologies.

Chief Deer will return to the office on Monday, 9 Enn�ska/February.
