Information Session for Kahnaw�:ke Contractors - Mercier Bridge (Pont Honor� Mercier) maintenance Call for Tenders

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke (MCK) wishes to inform the community that the Minist�re des Transports du Quebec (MTQ) intends to publish a Call for Tenders, open to Kahnaw�:ke Contractors only, for maintenance work on the provincial portion of the Mercier Bridge (Pont Honor�-Mercier) scheduled to begin this Spring 2015.
An Information Session for all interested Kahnaw�:ke Contractors to give an overview of the work and the contract awarding process, including:
- Work required in the short term
- Schedule
- Electronic Call for Tender System
- Instructions to Contractors
- Specifications
The Session will take place on Wednesday February 18th beginning at 1:30pm in the Tewatohnhi′saktha boardroom located at the Kahnawake Business Complex.
Kahnaw�:ke Contractors wishing to attend must RSVP by Monday, February 16th at 4pm to MCK Communications by calling 450-632-7500 ext. 2254.
Please note this information session is being presented by the MTQ and not the MCK. However, MCK Communications is assisting the MTQ in creating awareness for local contractors.
The Call for Tenders is expected to be launched in late February using the Syst�me Electronique d′Appels d′Offres (SEAO) - the electronic system used by the Quebec government. The MCK is not part of the awarding process of the contract.
