Tonight! Habs Alumni play at Kahnawake Sports Complex for fundraiser

The Sports & Recreation Unit of the Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK) is reminding the community that the Montreal Canadiens Alumni Tour is coming to the Kahnawà:ke Sports Complex tonight - Friday, 6 Enníska/February 2015.
General tickets to watch the game are $20 and VIP tickets to attend a ‘Meet and Greet’ with Alumni players and coaches are $50. The VIP ‘Meet & Greet’ takes place between 6-7pm and the game begins at 7:30pm.
A team consisting of former Habs players will take on a team of Kahnawà:ke all-stars in a charity game to raise funds for a new children’s park to be named in honor of the late Orville Standup. Among the players confirmed are John Chabot, Guy Carbonneau, Steve Shutt, Chris Nilan, and a host of other former Habs greats.

Morris Mohawk, Mohawk Market and Rainbow Distribution are the major sponsors who are ensuring associated costs of the event are covered. 100% of proceeds will go towards construction of the park. The Kateri Food Basket will also be on hand to receive donations.
