The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK) has just been informed that the Ministère des Transports du Québec has re-scheduled the complete closure of the Kahnawà:ke-bound side of the Mercier Bridge from Saturday, April 18th at 2am (Friday: post-midnight) until Monday, April 20th at 5am.
During this time, there will be NO Kahnawà:ke-bound access. However, both Montreal-bound lanes will be accessible.
Additionally, the Route 138 access ramp (towards the Mercier Bridge) on eastbound Route 20 at the St-Pierre Interchange will be completely closed from Saturday, April 18th at 6am until Monday, April 20th at 5am.
The MCK reminds the public that works/closures on the Mercier Bridge are subject to change due to weather conditions, operational constraints or work progression, and that it does not take part in the scheduling or cancellation of such works.
