Tobacco, Matrimonial Real Interests on Iroquois Caucus agenda

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke (MCK) would like to inform the community that Chiefs Clinton Phillips, Gina Deer and Bobby Patton will be attending the Iroquois Caucus meetings being held in Ottawa on Tuesday and Wednesday, 28 and 29 Oneraht�kha/April.

Agenda items include Tobacco (specifically, the C-10 �Anti-Contraband� legislation); Canada�s S-2 �Matrimonial Real Interests� legislation; Enbridge/Trans Canada Pipelines issues; Border Crossing; Education; and Free Trade.

Members of Parliament and government officials are also being invited to attend a �meet & greet� event with the Iroquois Caucus on Tuesday evening.
