Excavation begins at the Kateri Memorial Hospital Centre

The Community Protection Unit of the Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke would like to inform the community that excavation and soil disposal will take place at the construction site of the Kateri Memorial Hospital Centre beginning Monday, May 4th (today) until Tuesday, May 19th.

Work is scheduled to take place between 7am until 5pm.

Heavy trucks will utilize Route 138 and Rabaska Road towards the construction zone, where flagmen will be present at all times during the work. There will be no impact to traffic.

Contaminated materials will be transported and disposed of at an appropriate facility outside of the Territory.
