Annual Tree Giveaway on Wednesday May 13th

The Kahnaw�:ke Environment Protection Office (KEPO) is pleased to announce that the Annual Tree Giveaway will be held Wednesday, May 13th from 10am until 2:30pm at the Green Space in the area of the Golden Age Club.

1,500 trees will be available at no charge, donated by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Fauna and are distributed by the 4H Clubs du Quebec. Community members may take up to five (5) trees per household. The types of trees that are available this year are not yet known.

KEPO is urging community members to drop by as early as possible due to high demand. Please bring a bag or bucket to transport the trees. In case of heavy rain the Giveaway will be moved to the Recycling Depot.
