Mercier Bridge evening closures this week

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke (MCK) would like to inform road users that the Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated (JCCBI) has planned closures for the Mercier Bridge each weekday evening and during the weekend from Tuesday, June 9th to Monday, June 15th on the following schedule:

Tuesday from 7pm to 5am: complete closure of the Montreal-bound Route 132 up-ramp (from la Prairie). Detour via Route 138.

Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9pm to 5am (each evening): only one of two lanes will be available in both directions of the bridge.

Friday at 10pm until Monday at 5am: only one of two lanes will be available in both directions of the bridge.

Saturday at 11:59pm until Monday at 5am: complete closure of the Montreal-bound Route 132 up-ramp (from la Prairie). Detour via Route 138.

The closures are required to allow for preparation work to be carried out for the Work Blitz scheduled to begin June 20th.
 
The MCK reminds the public that these works are subject to change due to weather conditions, operational constraints or work progression, and that it does not take part in the scheduling or cancellation of such works.
