Notice � Authorization for Bird Survey extended until July 18

The Lands Unit of the Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke wishes to advise community members that an extension to Saturday, July 18th has been granted to two members of a team who are currently conducting a survey of bird populations in certain areas of the Territory. The team will be accompanied by a Conservation Officer at all times.

The Kahnaw�:ke Environment Protection Office has participated in various similar initiatives for several years and support this initiative, which gathers valuable bird population data.
 
Landowners for the sites in question have been contacted in advance and have granted permission for access.
