Call for PSB Community Representatives extended

The Peacekeeper Services Board would like to inform the community that the call for representatives to the Kahnawą:ke Peacekeeper Services Board has been extended to Friday, August 28th, 2015 at 4pm.

The Kahnawą:ke Peacekeeper Service Board is currently seeking two (2) community representatives to fill vacant positions on the Kahnawą:ke Peacekeepers Service Board. Interested community members must be dedicated to two hour bi-monthly Board meetings, adhere to confidentiality requirements and have an overall interest in community issues.

In addition, successful candidates will be expected to provide feedback on essential training for Peacekeepers and when required, recruit and recommend the appointment of the Chief Peacekeeper. Board members will also review the Peacekeepers complaints process and receive general reports from the Chief Peacekeeper.

All candidates will be required to sign a privacy waiver to permit a criminal background check at the Court of Kahnawą:ke and submit a detailed letter of interest no later than 4pm on August 28, 2015, and addressed to:
