Tiower�:ton Policy & Procedures now online

The Lands Unit of the Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke (MCK) wishes to inform the community that a 30 day review period begins today for the revised Tiower�:ton Policy & Procedures. The document is available for public viewing at www.kahnawake.com/tioweroton . 

Some of the major document changes from the previous policy are:
    � The document has been divided into two sections; Policy & Procedures
    � Application Process � Three Step Approval
    � Construction Practices � Allowing for Concrete Footings
    � Cabin Owner Responsibilities
    � Sales of Cabins

Feedback can be submitted by email to tara.mccomber@mck.ca. or in person at the Lands Unit office by Friday, September 18th at 4pm.

The Draft Tiower�:ton Policy & Procedures were approved by the Tiower�:ton Committee on April 29, 2015 and approved by Kahnaw�:ke Chief & Council on May 19, 2015.
