Public Notice for Community Representatives for the Kahnawake Peacekeeper Services Board

The Kahnawą:ke Peacekeeper Service Board is currently seeking two (2) community representatives to fill vacant positions on the Kahnawake Peacekeepers Service Board. Interested community members must be dedicated to two hour bi-monthly Board meetings, adhere to confidentiality requirements and have an overall interest in community issues.

In addition, successful candidates will be expected to provide feedback on essential training for Peacekeepers and when required, recruit and recommend the appointment of the Chief Peacekeeper. Board members will also review the Peacekeepers complaints process and receive general reports from the Chief Peacekeeper.

Candidates should submit a detailed letter of interest to the Court of Kahnawą:ke no later than September 25, 2015 addressed to:

All candidates will be required to sign a privacy waiver to permit a criminal background check.
