Long-term Monitoring in the Recreation Bay

The Kahnawà:ke Environment Protection Office (KEPO) would like to inform community members that field crews will be installing monitoring equipment on September 28th and 29th, which will be in place for four weeks. Fall monitoring in Recreation Bay will be taking place during the month of October.

The monitoring work is in relation to field data collection carried out in May. This will allow KEPO to finalize recommendations for remediation efforts in the bay.

Monitoring equipment will be identified by two buoys. Please avoid disturbing these buoys so that accurate measurements can be taken.
