Traffic mirror installed on River Road

The Public Safety Unit of the Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke wishes to inform the community that a traffic mirror has been installed on River Road at the stop sign between Kateri School and the Kahnawake Youth Center (KYC).



The mirror is located on the north side of River Road attached to the Kahnawake Tourism Office building. It is angled so that drivers have a clear view of the pathway coming from Kateri School towards the crosswalk to the KYC.

The Public Safety Unit strongly encourages all road users to be extra cognizant of children crossing in the area and to make a complete stop at the stop sign.
