Agenda set for Grand Chief meeting with Premier Couillard

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke (MCK) wishes to inform the community that the agenda has been set for the upcoming meeting between Grand Chief Joseph Tokwiro Norton and Quebec premier Philippe Couillard scheduled to take place on Wednesday, 27 Tsothohrk�:wa/January 2016 in Quebec City.
In accordance with a telephone discussion this morning between Grand Chief Norton and Premier Couillard, the MCK expects that agenda will include the following matters:
- The Relationship between Kahnaw�:ke and Quebec
- Legislation (Highway 30/Bill 85 and other legislation)
- Taxation issues
- Other Ventures (Kahnaw�:ke Sustainable Energies wind energy and other potential projects)
