Additional Spring Animal Vaccination Clinic announced

The Animal Protection Department of the Mohawk Council of Kahnawą:ke is pleased to announce that, due to popular demand, an additional Spring Animal Vaccination Clinic will be held on Sunday, June 5th from 9am to 1pm at the Public Safety Unit building.
Interested parties should contact Deidra Whyte at Animal Protection as soon as possible to book an appointment at (450) 632-0635.
A registered veterinarian (vet) will be on-site to provide check-up, vaccination, and preventative services for cats and dogs provided at a lower cost than at a vet′s office, plus administration fees of $10 for residents and $15 for non-residents (plus a $20 annual membership fee for non-residents). All fees are the responsibility of the pet owner.
Several shots and products will be available to protect your pet against diseases like the Parvo Virus, Rabies, and Heartworm, or to help with Ticks and Fleas. These are just a few of the available services. For full details call the Animal Protection Department at (450) 632-0635.
There have been confirmed cases of Lyme disease and heartworm in Kahnawą:ke animals. Please help prevent the contraction of these diseases and protect your pets by vaccinating.
