Lunch and learn: Alternative Dispute Resolution services

The Sken:nen A’Onsonton Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) program is inviting community members to an information seminar surrounding the rights and benefits of victims of crime on Thursday, June 2nd at 11am at the Golden Age Club.
Representatives from the Centres d’Aide aux Victims d’Actes Criminels (CAVAC – Centre to assist Victims of Criminal Acts) and ADR will provide an overview of the services available to individuals and families who may be victims of crime.
The session is free and open to all community members. A light lunch will be provided to participants.
May 29th to June 4th is National Victims and Survivors of Crime Week which aims to bring awareness to issues faced by these individuals, as well as, highlight the services available to assist the victims and their families.
This event is funded by the Victims Fund, a grants and contributions program administered by the Department of Justice Canada.
