Alternating lane reductions on Mercier Bridge tonight

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke (MCK) has been informed by the Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated that alternating closures of one lane will take place on the Mercier Bridge this evening (Thursday, June 9th) from 9pm until 5am.

One side of the span will be reduced to one lane in one direction. Once completed, the closure will move to the opposite direction which will be reduced to one lane.

The closures are required to carry out cleaning of the expansion joints. Proper signage and vehicles equipped with crash attenuators will be on site for the safety of workers and motorists.
 
The MCK reminds the public that these works are subject to change due to weather conditions, operational constraints or work progression, and that it does not take part in the scheduling or cancellation of such works.
