Deom Road Area Closed

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke would like to inform all Kahnawa′ker�:non that a portion of Deom Road will be closed indefinitely.

The Capital Construction Crew will be closing the portion of the road at the culvert creek crossing. The closure is necessary to replace the existing culvert pipes. The road will be closed from July 11th to July 15th, 2016. The works should be completed in one week, and the road will be reopened as soon as possible. Arrangements will be made to ensure there is access to all homes at all times.

Proper signalization will be erected delimiting the work zone. Detours will be clearly marked to allow for safe passage for pedestrians and motorized vehicles.
