Mercier Bridge overnight closure

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke (MCK) has been informed by the Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated that prep work to transition into Phase 2 of the Mercier Bridge Work Blitz will begin Tuesday at 10pm until Wednesday July 20th at 5am.
Overnight Closure Details:
- The 138 west down ramp (towards Chateauguay) will be completely closed; all traffic will be detoured to the 132 east (La Prairie direction).
- A detour will be in place on the 132 near GD�s Garage for traffic heading to the 138 west.
- Trucks will NOT be permitted to use this detour; signs will be in place directing them to A30 west.
The new traffic configuration for Phase 2 is scheduled to be implemented by the morning rush hour on Thursday, July 21st.
The MCK reminds the public that these works are subject to change due to weather conditions, operational constraints or work progression, and that it does not take part in the scheduling or cancellation of such works.
