New signage installed on 207 - 30-day notice period commences

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke (MCK) wishes to announce that Heavy Vehicle Restriction and new Stop Signs have been installed today at locations on Route 207.

The stop signs are located at Patton�s Glen and Peter Foxy�s intersection and were installed to address public safety concerns.

Users of the 207 are hereby given official notice that the enforcement will commence thirty (30) days from today�s date. This is being done to give users time to adjust to the change.

The Heavy Vehicle Restrictions and the installation of new Stop Signs were originally announced to the community on June 29, 2016.
