Mercier Bridge weekend closures

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke (MCK) has been informed by the Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated that several closures will take place on the the Mercier Bridge from Friday, September 23rd at 10pm until Sunday, September 25th.

The closures will take place on the following schedule:

Friday at 10pm until Saturday at 12 noon
-    Both Montreal and Kahnaw�:ke-bound directions of the bridge will be reduced to one lane
-    The 138 Kahnaw�:ke-bound down ramp towards Chateaguay will be closed. Traffic will be detoured towards the 132 down ramp with a u-turn to the service road towards Route 138.
-    The 132 Montreal-bound up ramp from La Prairie will be closed. Traffic will be detoured towards the Route 138 up ramp via the service road under the bridge.


Saturday at 10pm until Sunday at 12 noon
-    Montreal-bound traffic will be reduced to one lane. Both Kahnaw�:ke-bound will be open.

The MCK reminds the public that these works are subject to change due to weather conditions, operational constraints or work progression, and that it does not take part in the scheduling or cancellation of such works.
