Low Cost Spay and Neuter Clinics announced for fall

The Animal Protection Department of the Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke is now scheduling appointments for upcoming Low Cost Spay and Neuter Clinics for cats and dogs.
A maximum of 5 dog and 5 cat procedures will be performed each day on the following dates: • Wednesday, October 5 and 19 • Wednesday, November 2 and 16 • Wednesday, December 7 All services are provided at a significantly reduced rate but scheduling an appointment and a $20 deposit is required. Prices vary according to the weight and sex of the animal - all fees are the responsibility of the pet owner. Animals can be dropped off at the Public Safety Unit building by 11am to be transported to Timberlea Veterinary Clinic in Kirkland at an additional cost of $15/$20 for non-residents. Pet owners are asked to provide their own cages and carriers.
Please note that a $20 annual Kahnawà:ke Animal Protection Membership fee will apply for non-residents. This membership provides access to all clinics throughout the year.
