Reminder of call for Tioweró:ton Committee Community Representative

The Lands Unit of the Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke would like to remind the community that it is seeking a Community Representative to join the Tioweró:ton Committee for a three (3) year term.

Interested applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria:
•    be eighteen (18) years of age;
•    be on the Kahnawake Kanien’keháka Registry;
•    possess interest and knowledge of the Tioweró:ton Territory; and
•    attend monthly and seasonal Tioweró:ton Community Meetings.

Interested community members must submit a letter of intent to the Tioweró:ton Coordinator outlining their desire to participate on the Committee. Letters must be submitted by tomorrow (Friday, October 7th) at 4pm.

A vote will take place at the Services Complex on Friday, October 14th.
