Montreal bound 138 up-ramp of Mercier Bridge closed tonight

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke has been informed by the Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated that the Montreal-bound Route 138 up ramp (from Chateauguay) of the Mercier Bridge will be completely closed tonight (Wednesday, October 19th) from 9pm until 5am.

During the closure, Montreal-bound traffic coming from Chateauguay will be detoured towards the Route 132 up ramp from the La Prairie direction.

The closure is required to carry out installation of a new gate and light house on the bridge.

The MCK reminds the public that these works are subject to change due to weather conditions, operational constraints or work progression, and that it does not take part in the scheduling or cancellation of such works.
