Low Cost Spay and Neuter Clinics announced for winter

The Animal Protection Department of the Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke is now scheduling appointments for upcoming Low Cost Spay and Neuter Clinics for cats and dogs.

A maximum of 5 dog and 5 cat procedures will be performed each day on the following dates: 

�    Thursday, January 19th and 26th  
�    Wednesday, February 8th and 22nd   
�    Wednesday, March 15th and 29th  
 
All services are provided at a significantly reduced rate but scheduling an appointment and a $20 deposit is required. Prices vary according to the weight and sex of the animal - all fees are the responsibility of the pet owner.
 
Animals will be transported to Timberlea Veterinary Clinic in Kirkland at an additional cost of $15/$20 for non-residents. Pet owners are asked to provide their own cages and carriers.

Please note that a $20 annual Kahnaw�:ke Animal Protection Membership fee will apply for non-residents. This membership provides access to all clinics throughout the year.
