Chiefs attending AFNQL meetings in Wendake

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK) wishes to inform the community that Grand Chief Joseph Tokwiro Norton and Ratsénhaienhs Clinton Phillips are in Wendake to attend the Assembly of First Nations of Quebec & Labrador Chiefs’ Assembly.

Agenda items include Taxation Issues, the Coroner’s Report on Ushuat mak Mani-Uténam; Economic Development; and the AFNQL’s Cultural Policy.

The meetings will take place today (Tuesday) and tomorrow.
