02/06/2017
The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK) would like to advise Kahnawa’kehrò:non that Grand Chief Joseph Tokwiro Norton and Ietsénhaienhs Gina Deer, who holds the Gaming Portfolio, are in London, England this week to participate in the annual ICE Totally Gaming conference/exhibition.
Representatives from Kahnawà:ke (Tewatohnhi’saktha, Mohawk Internet Technologies, Kahnawake Gaming Commission, and MCK) have participated for many years in ICE, which is often described as the world’s most important annual gaming event.
“This is the single most important and influential event of its kind in the world,” said Ietsénhaienhs Deer. “The world of eGaming has continued to evolve and we have to continue to adapt and innovate. With the creation of Mohawk Online, this will be the first time we participate as operators, so we’re looking forward to the 2017 edition of ICE.”
This year’s event will feature over 500 exhibitors from 66 nations. Operators, service providers, regulators and policy makers will gather from tomorrow (Tuesday) to Thursday (February 7 to 9).
