Art Contest Call for Submissions

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke (MCK) is putting out a call for submissions for artwork to be integrated into banners to be displayed along the federal section of the Mercier Bridge, part of  the Jacques Cartier & Champlain Bridges Incorporated (JCCBI) celebrations for Canada′s 150th anniversary.

Drawings should vivid in color and reflect the pride of Kahnaw�:ke, such as Mohawk culture, nature, ironworkers, lacrosse, etc. Five (5) images will be chosen in total from three age groups: 10-15 years (2); 16-35 years (2); & 36 years and over (1).

Drawings can be submitted by email to artcontest@mck.ca or dropped off at the MCK main reception desk no later than Friday, February 24th at 4pm. For the parameters and a sample submission please visit kahnawake.com/artcontest .
