Land Use Planning burial sites survey

The Lands Unit of the Mohawk Council of Kahnawą:ke announced today the launch of a survey to collect feedback on the the creation of a future burial site in Kahnawą:ke.
The survey is one of several consultation activities taking place as part of a 30 week extensive Community information and consultation campaign to address major land-related issues in Kahnawą:ke. "The information collected will be used to create a land use plan framework that is expected to lead to a land use plan for the next generation," said Land Use Planning Coordinator Cole McComber.
The survey is available online at www.kahnawake.com/burials until Friday, March 17th at 4pm and hard copies are available at the Main Reception desk of the MCK.
