Seeking participants for land issues focus groups

The Lands Unit of the Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke is seeking interested community members to participate in a focus group to discuss important land issues that affect Kahnawà:ke. More specifically, the topic of discussion will surround Certificates of Possession.

The focus groups are scheduled to take place from 6pm-8pm on Thursday, March 16th and Tuesday, March 28th in the Tewatohnhi’saktha Board Room.

Refreshments will be provided for participants.

The focus groups are one of several consultation activities taking place to address major land-related issues in the community.
