Animal Vaccination Clinics announced

The Animal Protection Department is pleased to announce the dates for upcoming Animal Vaccination Clinics at the new Animal Protection building (next to K103 Radio). All clinics are from 9am to 1pm on the following dates:
• Sunday, April 23rd • Sunday, May 7th • Sunday, June 4th

A registered veterinarian (vet) will be on-site to provide check-up, vaccination, and preventative services for cats and dogs provided at a lower cost than at a vet′s office, plus administration fees of $10 for residents and $15 for non-residents ($20 annual membership fee required for non-residents). All fees are the responsibility of the pet owner.
Several shots and products will be available to protect your pet against diseases like the Parvo Virus, Rabies, and Heartworm, or to help with Ticks and Fleas. These are just a few of the available services.
There have been confirmed cases of Lyme disease and Heartworm in Kahnawà:ke animals. Please help prevent the contraction of these diseases and protect your pets by vaccinating.
