Annual Tree Giveaway Friday May 12th

The Kahnaw�:ke Environment Protection Office (KEPO) is pleased to announce that the Annual Tree Giveaway will be held Friday, May 12th at Tsi Niionkwarih�:ten Tsitewah�hara�n Center (MCK Kahnaw�:ke Language and Culture Training Center) located at the K103 Radio building from 8:30am until 2:30pm.

Approximately 1,500 trees will be available for planting in the community. KEPO is urging community members to drop by as early as possible due to high demand. Please bring a bag or bucket to transport the trees. Community members may take up to five (5) trees per household.   

New this year, sign up for the Butterfly-Pollinator Garden Challenge.

Trees are provided by the Ministry of Forests, Fauna and Parks, and are distributed by the 4H Clubs of Quebec.

The event will take place rain or shine.
