Educational signs to be installed along Recreation Paths

05/10/2017

The Kahnawà:ke Environment Protection Office (KEPO) would like to inform the community that six (6) new educational signs will be installed along the recreation paths on either side of the Recreation Bay. Three signs will be installed on Tekakwitha Island and three will be installed between Onake and the Elders Lodge.

The goal is to share information about our local environment and inspire actions to protect our natural spaces and the species that rely on them for their survival.

The work will be carried out during the week of May 15th-19th, weather dependent, and will involve machinery to dig the holes and to pour cement for the sign bases. KEPO staff will be on-site to supervise the work.

Please contact KEPO at 450-635-0600 if you have any questions.
